Mike Brock -- "Pet Detective"
Mike Brock of Lee County Sheriffs Office is jokingly known as the "Pet Detective".
Here's the story. Sydney Williams prized cat, "Taz" - a Savannah Cat had gone missing. Williams owns five cats and five dogs. Taz did not show up for dinner and by the next morning Sydney knew something was wrong.
William's at the time had many contractors coming and going from her property as she was getting work done. This is where Mike Brock steps into the picture. Mike tracked down the contractors. Brock states " I basically told them it would be in everybody's best interest if this cat was returned to the family safe and unharmed."
Within a couple of days the cat was returned.
Williams stated " I don't even know what to say about Detective Brock. We truly believe if it wasn't;t for him, we would have never seen Taz again." Willams decided not to press charges. |
